I asked one of my own students if I was saying this correctly, in Chinese.
“Wo Yao Wan” (I want play) she said I should say….I want TO play, which is the same as we say in English. Why do you omit the word TO?
Yes you are saying it correctly in Chinese. In Chinese we don’t use “to” in front of the verb, so I think your student was commenting on English grammar rather than Chinese grammar. 😁
